Powder Coat Painter

We are seeking a Powder Coat Painter who is inspired by breaking records, that want to be the best they can be, and wants their achievements rewarded as an employee-owner.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality and precision finishing of metal components using a variety of powder coats. This is an important and highly-skilled role within the company and requires an eye for detail, proficiency with tools, supplies, machine operation, and compliance with general safety protocols. If you have prior experience in powder coating of metal items or other related tasks, we would like to hear from you!

Core Responsibilities:

• Safely operate painting equipment in a high mix/low volume production environment

• Read travelers and prints for paint color and masking requirements.

• Read and follow SDS and TDS for safety requirements and product application.

• Evaluate parts for cleanliness prior to and during the wash process.

• Set up/operate wash booth, powder paint guns, and/or automated wash line.

• Trouble shooting equipment and process.

• Daily maintenance for paint equipment and tools
