Perspective on the Keys to Success

“Each day, my goal is to keep things moving forward, whatever it takes. Of course, it helps that our employees work harder than others. We really believe that, because our expectations are also higher. I’ve always said that a ‘C’ player here is an ‘A’ player anywhere else.”

— Gary Rettman, President of Webco

“We’ve managed to put the company first and not to let egos get in the way. We don’t always have to be right. It’s more important to do what’s best for all involved. I also think you have to have passion for what you do and believe in the people who you work with.”

— Mike Johnson, Vice-President of Webco

Fusing Foresight and Forward Momentum

As surely as Webco skilled craftsmen fuse steel into something bigger or better, the leadership team of Gary Rettman and Mike Johnson have fused their vision for the future with day-to-day success to create a bigger, better company.

Gary, who has served in virtually every capacity from the shop floor to the corner office since the very beginning, and Mike, who has worked in sales for more than 10 years, complement each other well. It’s a perfect balance of operations, production, purchasing and supply chain knowledge with salesmanship, customer satisfaction, marketing and management savvy.

As a result, company growth – especially in the past two decades – has been steady, capped by the recent construction of a $10 million-dollar headquarters and fabrication facility.

Gary and Mike both express their dedication to, and appreciation of, the employees who make everything possible, and they are committed to employees’ morale and success.
